Rui Gao is an Associate Professor with the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. She received the M.S. degree in computer software and theory from Northeastern University, Shenyang, China, in 2012, and the D.Sc. (Tech.) degree in automation, systems and control engineering from Aalto University, Espoo, Finland, in 2020. Her research interests include machine learning algorithms, state estimation, and autonomous systems.

Chenguang Liu is an Associate Professor at State Key Laboratory of Maritime Technology and Safety, Wuhan University of Technology, China. He was a postdoctoral researcher in Wuhan University. His research interests include ship intelligent navigation, motion planning and control, and formation control. On these topics, he has published more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Liu was the PI of projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Department of Science and Technology of Hubei Province, and the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He is currently serving as the youth editorial board member of Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering.

Huarong Zheng is a full researcher and doctoral supervisor with Ocean College, Zhejiang University. Her main research interests are intelligent control, cooperative control and applications of ocean robotics. Her research results were published in top journals such as IEEE T-Cybernetics, IEEE TMECH, IEEE T-ITS,IEEE T- SMC: Systems, IEEE TCST, etc. She was the recipient of the third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Hubei Province and the first prize of the Dutch industrial exhibition on smart ports. Her work on intelligent ships was recognized by serval Dutch media including a Dutch national newspaper. Dr. Zheng will be the publication co-chair of AIM2025, Hangzhou, China, and was the registration chair of CVCI2020, Hangzhou, China, the invited session co-chair of Marine applications, ECC2016, Alborg, Denmark. She is also the reviewers of many SCI journals in the field. She is the PI of several national projects including two NSFC projects. She also works as the main participant of several other key national projects including the National Major Scientific Instruments and Equipment Development Project of NSFC.

Jian Wang is an Associate Professor at the School of Ocean and Civil Engineering, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. He has published 30 related papers, applied for 4 invention patents and obtained 8 software Copyrights, and presided over a number of topics related to navigation control of USVs and cooperative control of USVs formation. His research results "Test and verification technology and application of ship intelligent control System" won the first prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of the Chinese Society of Naval Architecture Engineering in 2021. His research interests include the design of Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) platform and the cooperative control of marine unmanned multi-agents.
